Uber is hiring an Account Representative to bring local restaurants onto the Uber Eats platform. You'll manage the sales cycle and negotiate partnerships with restaurants. This role requires strong sales skills and knowledge of the local restaurant scene.
Job Description
Who you are
You have at least 1 year of professional sales experience, or you are a recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree. You possess a natural talent for selling and have a deep understanding of the local restaurant landscape. Your passion for food and the Uber brand drives you to excel in this role. You are comfortable with cold-calling and enjoy building relationships with potential partners. You thrive in a target-driven environment and are motivated by achieving and exceeding your sales quotas. You are an effective communicator, capable of clearly articulating the value of Uber Eats to restaurant owners.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own and manage a pipeline of local small and medium restaurants, focusing on signing new partnerships in your geographic region. You will engage in a mix of cold-calling and in-person meetings, making at least 50 dials per day to connect with potential partners. As an ambassador for Uber Eats, you will create a great first impression and develop long-term relationships with restaurant owners. You will manage contract negotiations to establish strong working relationships, ensuring sustainable economics for both parties. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Account Management team to support a seamless onboarding experience for each new restaurant partner. Maintaining proactive communication with prospects via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings will be key to your success.
