Who you are
You have at least 1+ years of professional sales experience or 0+ years with a Bachelor’s Degree, demonstrating your ability to engage with clients and build relationships. You are a natural at selling and have a deep knowledge of local restaurants, which allows you to effectively communicate the value of Uber Eats to potential partners. Your passion for food and the Uber brand drives your enthusiasm in this role, making you an ambassador for the company. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are motivated by achieving and exceeding sales quotas.
You possess strong negotiation skills, enabling you to manage contract discussions effectively and establish sustainable partnerships with restaurant owners. Your proactive approach to building a pipeline through cold-calling and in-person meetings showcases your determination and commitment to success. You are comfortable maintaining communication channels with prospects via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new partners.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own and manage a pipeline of local small and medium restaurants, focusing on signing new partnerships within your geographic region. You will engage in a mix of cold-calling—making at least 50 dials per day—and conducting in-person meetings to create a great first impression and develop long-term relationships. Your responsibilities will include managing contract negotiations to lay the groundwork for strong working relationships with restaurant partners, ensuring that both parties benefit from the partnership.
You will collaborate with the Account Management team to identify and build standard processes that support a seamless onboarding experience for each new restaurant partner. Your success will be measured by your ability to achieve and exceed your monthly quota while proactively building your sales pipeline. You will also be expected to maintain regular communication with prospects, ensuring that they are informed and engaged throughout the sales process.
