Who you are
You are a strategic leader with a proven track record in building and leading sales organizations. With experience in developing high-performing teams, you understand the nuances of the food delivery market in Japan and are adept at driving merchant growth through innovative strategies. You possess strong leadership skills that foster a motivated team culture grounded in psychological safety and authenticity. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional partners, including operations, marketing, product, finance, and customer support, to achieve business objectives.
You have a deep understanding of market trends and competitor activities, allowing you to refine strategies based on customer feedback. Your analytical skills enable you to prepare strategic presentations with actionable insights for executive reviews. You are passionate about building long-lasting relationships with key merchant partners and have a solution-based approach to account management.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for recruiting, coaching, and leading a high-performing team of strategy and sales professionals. You will develop and execute scalable merchant growth strategies that align with Uber's business objectives. Your leadership will inspire a sizeable sales team to acquire and deepen merchant partnerships across multiple products. You will set ambitious sales targets and monitor performance through data-driven analysis, ensuring that your team meets and exceeds expectations.
You will lead Joint Business Planning discussions with mid-market merchants, fostering collaboration and driving results. Your role will require you to analyze market trends and competitor activities continuously, refining strategies to enhance merchant growth. You will prepare and deliver strategic presentations to executives, showcasing actionable insights and progress towards goals.
