Who you are

You have over 8 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Account Management within the advertising or media industry — you've successfully led digital ad sales teams and driven results across agencies and brand clients. Your deep expertise in digital media, including programmatic advertising, positions you as a key player in shaping Uber's advertising business. You excel at building senior-level relationships with media holding companies, agencies, and major brands, ensuring that your team meets and exceeds revenue targets.

You are a natural leader who thrives on training, coaching, and developing high-performing teams — you understand the importance of execution quality and customer success in achieving business goals. Your analytical skills allow you to manage accurate forecasting, pipeline health, and team performance metrics effectively. You are comfortable leading executive-level meetings with advertisers and agencies, developing Joint Business Plans, and securing Annual Commitments.

What you'll do

As the Strategic Verticals Team Lead, you will report directly to the Head of Uber Advertising and play a pivotal role in accelerating partnerships with major brands and top-tier media agencies across Taiwan, Hong Kong, and China Export. You will lead a group of experienced Client Partners and Partner Managers, overseeing revenue and account growth from leading Fortune 500 brands. Your responsibilities will include training and developing your ad sales team, ensuring they have the expertise needed to excel in key verticals.

You will own and deliver on revenue targets while ensuring that your team's impact and execution quality align with Uber's standards. Collaborating with Product, Marketing, Measurement, and Operations teams, you will tailor Uber's ad solutions and go-to-market approach for key customers. Your role will also involve managing accurate forecasting and pipeline health, ensuring that your team meets performance metrics consistently.

In addition to leading your team, you will build and maintain senior-level relationships with media holding companies and major brands, facilitating executive-level meetings to develop Joint Business Plans and secure Annual Commitments. Your leadership will be crucial in shaping the future of Uber's advertising business in one of its most exciting regions.
