Uber is hiring a Head of U.S. Convenience Partner Management to lead the Convenience Partner Management team and deepen relationships with key merchants. You'll work closely with various departments to drive growth opportunities. This role requires extensive experience in retail and partnership management.

Who you are

You have extensive experience in retail and partnership management, ideally with a focus on grocery and convenience sectors. Your leadership skills are proven, as you've successfully built and managed high-performing teams that drive strategic initiatives. You excel in executive stakeholder management, cultivating strong relationships with key partners and understanding their needs and motivations. Your strategic planning abilities allow you to develop comprehensive strategies that engage and grow business with major grocery merchants, identifying new partnership opportunities and crafting compelling value propositions.

You are adept at navigating complex organizational structures and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, Strategy, Operations, and Finance. Your ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders ensures that you can align various teams towards common goals. You thrive in dynamic environments and are comfortable wearing multiple hats, from team building to strategic planning and negotiations.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the U.S. Convenience Partner Management team, focusing on deepening relationships with key convenience partners. You will develop and execute strategies aimed at unlocking new growth opportunities for both our merchants and Uber. Your responsibilities will include managing executive stakeholder relationships, understanding their needs, and driving growth in orders and Gross Bookings. You will also be responsible for building a high-performance team that embodies Uber's cultural identity and values.

You will work closely with various departments to identify and drive growth opportunities, ensuring that the value delivered to both Uber and its merchants is maximized. Your role will involve strategic planning, contracting, and negotiations, all aimed at enhancing engagement with key partners. You will be a strategic driver of Uber Eats' success within the Grocery & Retail landscape, ensuring that the team is aligned and focused on achieving ambitious growth targets.
