You have extensive experience as an IT Operations Engineer, particularly in a leadership role within a fast-paced fintech environment. Your expertise spans the entire spectrum of IT operations, from user support excellence to enterprise infrastructure reliability. You are a technical authority who influences organizational IT practices and mentor team members to enhance service delivery.

You possess strong skills in designing and maintaining hybrid infrastructures, including on-premise data centers and cloud services, particularly with AWS. Your experience includes implementing disaster recovery solutions and leading regular testing and documentation efforts. You are adept at network architecture, including LAN/WAN design and VPN topology, ensuring seamless connectivity with telecommunications providers.

You are committed to driving infrastructure as code practices and automation to minimize manual operational burdens. Your proactive approach includes implementing monitoring systems, alerts, and capacity planning to ensure optimal IT operations. You are fluent in Spanish and have experience in multinational IT operations across Latin America, which enhances your ability to communicate effectively in diverse environments.

Desirable

You hold relevant certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, CCNA, and Security+. Experience with collaborative support methodologies or Intelligent Swarming is a plus, as is familiarity with Zero Trust security architectures.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design and maintenance of hybrid IT infrastructure, ensuring it meets the needs of a rapidly growing fintech company. You will implement and oversee disaster recovery solutions, ensuring that the organization is prepared for any operational challenges. Your responsibilities will also include defining service level objectives (SLOs) for IT support and implementing systems to monitor and improve service delivery.

You will act as a technical authority for escalations related to helpdesk services and IT infrastructure, guiding your team through complex operational challenges. Your leadership will influence IT practices at an organizational level, driving measurable improvements in service delivery. You will collaborate closely with other teams to ensure that IT operations align with business goals and support the overall strategy of the company.
