You are a results-driven individual with a hunter mentality, eager to make a positive impact in the cybersecurity space. You possess strong communication skills and are comfortable spending significant time on the phone, engaging with potential clients and generating leads. Your curiosity drives you to learn about market trends and effective demand generation techniques within the Machine Identity Security sector. You are fluent in Dutch or French and English, which allows you to connect with a diverse range of clients in the Benelux region.

You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working cross-functionally with marketing and field sales teams. You are motivated by the opportunity to progress into a quota-carrying field sales role, and you are open to learning and adapting as you grow in your career. You understand the importance of machine identities in cybersecurity and are passionate about protecting organizations from cybercriminals.

What you'll do

As a Sales Development Representative at Venafi, you will be responsible for independent prospecting into large named accounts across the Benelux region. You will follow up on leads generated from marketing programs and work closely with the marketing and field sales teams to generate demand for Venafi's solutions. Your role will involve identifying potential clients, understanding their needs, and effectively communicating how Venafi's technology can help them manage and protect their machine identities.

You will engage with prospects primarily over the phone, developing relationships and nurturing leads to create a robust sales pipeline. Your success will be measured by your ability to generate qualified leads and contribute to the overall growth of the company. You will also have the opportunity to learn about the cybersecurity landscape and the critical role that machine identities play in securing networks.
