You possess strong communication skills and are comfortable spending significant time on the phone, engaging with potential clients and following up on leads generated from marketing programs. Your curiosity drives you to become familiar with market trends and effective demand generation techniques within the Machine Identity Security space. You are a team player who enjoys collaborating cross-functionally with marketing and field sales teams to generate demand and pipeline for Venafi solutions.

What you'll do
As a Sales Development Representative at Venafi, you will be responsible for independent prospecting into large named accounts across the APAC region. You will spend a significant amount of time on the phone, reaching out to potential clients and generating interest in Venafi's solutions. You will work closely with the marketing team to follow up on leads generated from various marketing programs, ensuring that you are effectively nurturing these leads into potential sales opportunities.
You will collaborate with field sales teams to create a seamless transition from lead generation to sales closure, ensuring that all potential clients receive the attention and information they need to make informed decisions. Your role will involve understanding the unique needs of each client and articulating how Venafi's solutions can address their specific challenges in managing and protecting machine identities.
You will also be expected to stay updated on industry trends and developments in the cybersecurity space, allowing you to engage in meaningful conversations with prospects and position Venafi as a leader in the market. Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to generate qualified leads and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
