Overview
Verkada is hiring an Account Executive to drive new business and manage the full sales cycle. You'll leverage your sales experience to exceed quotas and build strong relationships with clients. This position requires at least 2 years of sales experience.
Job Description
Who you are
You have at least 2 years of sales experience in a quota-carrying capacity β you've successfully sourced and closed new business, consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas. Your highly effective communication skills allow you to build rapport and nurture relationships with clients and channel partners alike.
You possess a deep understanding of Verkada products and their place in the industry β you are able to act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, ensuring that clients receive the best solutions for their needs. Your ability to manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals, is a key strength.
What you'll do
In this role, you will source and close new business, consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly sales quotas. You will build an intimate understanding of Verkada products and their applications in the market, allowing you to effectively manage the full sales cycle. This includes prospecting for new customers, hosting online demos, creating proposals, and closing deals.
You will maintain accurate pipeline management with expert-level forecasting, ensuring that you are always on top of your sales goals. Your responsibilities will also include providing market and client feedback to Verkadaβs product and engineering teams, helping to fuel future product growth. You will work closely with channel partners and technical support to ensure smooth launches and ongoing success for clients.
