Versapay is hiring a Senior Account Executive to drive sales and partnerships with senior finance executives across North America. This role requires 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally in the FinTech or MarTech sectors.
Job Description
Who you are
You have 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally in the FinTech or MarTech sectors — you've successfully navigated complex sales cycles and built strong relationships with senior finance executives. Your ability to understand customer needs and articulate value propositions has led to significant sales achievements in your previous roles.
You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with a team of specialists including Partners, Channel Partner Managers, Sales Engineers, and Product Architects — you understand that teamwork is essential to winning deals and driving revenue growth. Your strong communication skills enable you to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment and fostering trust.
You are results-driven and have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets — you approach challenges with a strategic mindset, leveraging data and insights to inform your sales strategies. Your adaptability allows you to pivot quickly in response to market changes and customer feedback.
What you'll do
As a Senior Account Executive at Versapay, you will own the sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals — you will engage with senior finance executives across multiple industries, presenting Versapay's innovative accounts receivable solutions. Your role will involve identifying new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with existing clients, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
You will work closely with the Director of Channel Sales to develop and execute sales strategies that align with company goals — your insights and feedback will be invaluable in shaping the direction of the sales team. You will also participate in regular training and development sessions to enhance your skills and stay updated on industry trends.
Your responsibilities will include conducting product demonstrations, negotiating contracts, and managing the sales pipeline — you will utilize CRM tools to track progress and report on sales metrics. You will also be expected to contribute to the overall growth of the company by identifying areas for improvement and suggesting innovative solutions.
