Who you are
You have 2+ years of experience as an Account Executive in a SaaS or equivalent environment — you've successfully closed deals and understand the nuances of solution selling. Your background includes direct SaaS/Cloud selling experience, allowing you to effectively communicate the value of unified communications and contact center solutions to potential clients.
You are skilled in conducting high-level conversations with C-Level and VP-Level Executives — you know how to address business needs and tailor your approach to different stakeholders. Your ability to create client demos, presentations, and proposals ensures a customer-centric experience that drives satisfaction and loyalty.
You leverage technology to optimize your efficiency — using tools like Salesforce CRM, you track sales activities and provide timely updates on your pipeline. Your strategic mindset helps you work collaboratively with the Sales Development team to establish a healthy pipeline and forecast sales activity accurately.
You are proactive in resolving client issues — you understand the importance of timely and thorough resolutions and know when to escalate issues to management. Keeping informed of product lines, competition, and industry trends is second nature to you, allowing you to stay ahead in the fast-evolving cloud communications landscape.
What you'll do
In this role, you will join Vonage's Inside Sales team and play a crucial part in driving growth by matching customers with our innovative business communications solutions. You will work directly with companies that have an employee count of up to 150, utilizing our sourced and qualified inbound sales model to identify and engage potential clients.
Your responsibilities will include working closely with the Sales Development team to establish a robust sales pipeline — you will leverage our tech stack to optimize your efficiency, logging all activities and ensuring that you have a clear view of your sales progress. You will create compelling client demos and presentations that highlight the benefits of our solutions, crafting quotes and proposals that resonate with potential customers.
Conducting high-level conversations with C-Level and VP-Level Executives will be a key part of your role — you will employ solution-selling techniques to guide the sales process effectively and close deals that meet client needs. Your strategic collaboration with management will help you deliver accurate forecasts, identify trending opportunities and challenges, and provide recommended solutions to enhance our sales strategy.
You will also be responsible for resolving client issues in a timely manner — your proactive approach will ensure that any challenges are addressed quickly, and you will escalate issues to your manager as appropriate. Staying informed about our product line, competition, and industry trends will empower you to provide valuable insights that can impact client business activities positively.
