Who you are

You are a bilingual language specialist with native-level or near-native proficiency in both Spanish (Mexico) and English (US). You possess a strong understanding of linguistic nuances, idiomatic expressions, and cultural context in both languages, which allows you to assess translations effectively. Your attention to detail and ability to maintain concentration over large volumes of content make you an ideal candidate for this review-only role. While previous experience in translation, localization, or linguistic quality evaluation is a plus, it is not required. Familiarity with different music genres and lyrical styles is also a nice-to-have.

What you'll do

In this role, you will review and assess machine-translated song lyrics for meaning, fluency, and naturalness. Your feedback will directly contribute to improving automated translation systems. You will provide quality ratings based on predefined evaluation criteria and identify issues such as mistranslations, awkward phrasing, or cultural inaccuracies. Maintaining consistent and objective judgment throughout the review process is crucial. The job offers a flexible schedule, averaging about 4 hours per day, and you will start as soon as possible. This is a freelance position with ongoing project duration.
