Who you are

You are an experienced language professional with a strong understanding of Spanish (Mexico) and its nuances. You have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality translations. Your background in reviewing and editing machine-translated content makes you well-suited for this role. You are familiar with customer service content and understand the importance of accuracy and natural language in communication. You are comfortable working with style guides and terminology requirements, ensuring that all content aligns with project guidelines. You are proactive in identifying and reporting recurring quality issues, contributing to the overall improvement of machine translation outputs.

What you'll do

In this role, you will edit and review machine-translated customer service content, ensuring a high level of accuracy and consistency. You will evaluate the quality of machine translation outputs and apply severity ratings as needed, following project guidelines. Your work will involve producing high-quality human translations that serve as reference data for model training and quality evaluation. You will follow provided style guides, tone rules, and terminology requirements to maintain consistency across all content. Additionally, you will identify and report recurring quality issues and batch-level trends to help improve the overall quality of the machine translation process. This position involves intermittent work, with tasks assigned on an ad hoc basis throughout the year depending on client needs.
