Who you are
You are an experienced language professional with a strong background in translation and quality assessment. You have a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring that translated content meets high standards of accuracy and fluency. Your familiarity with machine translation and its nuances allows you to effectively evaluate and improve the quality of translated materials. You are comfortable following project guidelines and style guides to maintain consistency in tone and terminology. You understand the importance of user experience in customer service content and strive to enhance it through your work.
What you'll do
In this role, you will edit and review machine-translated customer service content, ensuring a high level of accuracy and consistency. You will evaluate the quality of machine translation output and apply severity ratings as needed, adhering to project guidelines. Your responsibilities will also include producing high-quality human translations that serve as reference data for model training and quality evaluation. You will follow provided style guides, tone rules, and terminology requirements closely. Additionally, you will identify and report recurring quality issues and trends in machine translation output, contributing to the continuous improvement of the translation process.
