Who you are
You are an experienced language professional with a strong background in reviewing and refining customer service content, specifically in Spanish (United States). Your expertise lies in ensuring linguistic accuracy and consistency, and you have a keen eye for detail that helps improve machine-translated materials. You understand the importance of natural language and alignment with project guidelines, making you a valuable asset to any language project.
You possess the ability to conduct second-pass quality reviews, ensuring that all content meets high standards of linguistic accuracy. Your experience allows you to validate and calibrate severity assessments effectively, maintaining alignment with quality standards. You are adept at identifying systemic machine translation quality issues, including recurring error patterns, tone mismatches, and terminology inconsistencies, which contributes to the overall improvement of the project.
What you'll do
In this role, you will conduct thorough quality reviews of Spanish (United States) customer service content, focusing on improving machine-translated materials. You will validate and calibrate severity assessments to ensure that all content aligns with established quality standards. Your responsibilities will include identifying systemic quality issues and providing high-level qualitative feedback that directly contributes to final quality reporting and continuous improvement efforts. You will work on an ad hoc basis, with tasks assigned throughout the year depending on client needs, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule.
