Whatnot is seeking a Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships to lead a team focused on building long-term relationships with sellers. Who you are
You have a proven track record in partnership management, with at least 5 years of experience in building and maintaining strategic relationships. Your ability to analyze market trends and seller insights allows you to guide sellers effectively, ensuring they scale efficiently on the platform. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and trust & safety to deliver exceptional results. Your leadership skills enable you to manage and mentor a team of Strategic Partner Managers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. You are passionate about e-commerce and understand the nuances of the marketplace, allowing you to drive impactful strategies that benefit both sellers and buyers.
Desirable
Experience in e-commerce or marketplace environments is a plus, as is familiarity with category strategy and go-to-market execution. You are data-driven and can leverage analytics to inform your decisions, ensuring that your strategies are effective and aligned with company goals. A background in marketing or product management can enhance your ability to collaborate with those teams effectively.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the Strategic Partnerships team, focusing on building deep, long-term relationships with Whatnot sellers. You will guide sellers to scale their businesses efficiently while enhancing the buyer experience on the platform. Collaborating closely with your Category Lead, you will turn seller insights into actionable strategies that drive results. You will be responsible for developing and executing partnership strategies that align with Whatnot's goals, ensuring that sellers receive the support they need to thrive. Your role will involve regular communication with sellers to understand their needs and challenges, allowing you to provide tailored solutions that enhance their experience. You will also work with marketing and product teams to ensure that seller feedback is integrated into platform improvements, driving innovation and growth.
