Your diverse experience across multiple manufacturing disciplines, particularly in CNC, sheet metal fabrication, and assemblies, makes you an optimal candidate for this role. You possess excellent relationship-building skills, having developed strong connections with customers and partners, often in roles such as shop representative or business development specialist. Your ability to understand manufacturing partner capabilities deeply allows you to curate a micro-network of top partners effectively.

You are adept at providing Design for Manufacturing (DFM) feedback and optimization recommendations, ensuring that projects are matched to the right partners through targeted outreach. Your experience has equipped you with the skills to monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs), and you are committed to updating and optimizing departmental procedures and training to enhance overall efficiency.

What you'll do

As a Manufacturing Solutions Specialist at Xometry, you will be responsible for developing a deep understanding of the capabilities of manufacturing partners. You will maintain and nurture relationships with these partners, ensuring that you can effectively match projects to the right partners based on detailed project awareness. Your role will involve providing DFM feedback and optimization recommendations to enhance project outcomes. You will prepare and submit quotes to the sales team, playing a crucial role in the sales process by ensuring that all quotes are accurate and competitive.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to partner performance and project success.
