You have 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including time both on and off the shop floor — your diverse background across multiple manufacturing disciplines has equipped you with a deep understanding of CNC, sheet metal fabrication, and assemblies. You excel in building strong relationships with customers and partners, often having worked as a shop representative or business development specialist.

Your educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in engineering or manufacturing/supply chain, which complements your practical experience. You possess strong relationship-building skills, enabling you to effectively curate a micro-network of top manufacturing partners and connect them to significant opportunities.

What you'll do

As a Senior Manufacturing Solutions Specialist at Xometry, you will develop a deep understanding of manufacturing partner capabilities and maintain relationships with these partners. Your role involves matching projects to partners through targeted outreach and a thorough awareness of project details. You will provide Design for Manufacturing (DFM) feedback and optimization recommendations, ensuring that projects align with partner capabilities.

You will prepare and submit quotes to the sales team, monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs), and update departmental procedures and training as necessary. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing the matching process and enhancing the overall efficiency of the Solutions Engineering department.
