Your background includes hands-on experience on the shop floor, which gives you a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and capabilities. You excel in building strong relationships with customers and partners, often leveraging your experience as a shop representative or business development specialist. Your expertise in CNC, sheet metal fabrication, and assemblies positions you as a valuable asset in connecting projects with the right manufacturing partners.

You possess a Bachelor's Degree in engineering or manufacturing/supply chain, which complements your extensive practical experience. Your ability to provide design for manufacturability (DFM) feedback and optimization recommendations is a key strength, allowing you to enhance project outcomes effectively. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for monitoring and improving key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring that both your team and partners achieve their goals.

What you'll do

In this role, you will curate a micro-network of top manufacturing partners, connecting them to Xometry's most significant and lucrative opportunities. You will develop a deep understanding of each partner's capabilities, allowing you to match projects to the right partners through targeted outreach. Your responsibilities will include preparing and submitting quotes to the sales team, as well as updating and optimizing departmental procedures and training to enhance efficiency. You will play a crucial role in fostering relationships that drive business growth and success for both Xometry and its partners.

You will also be responsible for providing DFM feedback and optimization recommendations, ensuring that projects are aligned with manufacturing capabilities. Your insights will help streamline processes and improve overall project execution. By monitoring KPIs, you will identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance performance across the board. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that Xometry remains a leader in connecting innovative ideas with manufacturing solutions.
