Who you are

You have a Bachelor's Degree in engineering or manufacturing/supply chain, and over 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including time both on and off the shop floor. You have worked in various positions across multiple manufacturing disciplines, with a focus on CNC, sheet metal fabrication, and assemblies. Your strong relationship-building skills have been honed through experience as a shop representative or business development specialist, allowing you to effectively connect with customers and partners.

You possess a deep understanding of manufacturing partner capabilities, which enables you to curate a micro-network of top manufacturing partners. You are adept at providing Design for Manufacturing (DFM) feedback and optimization recommendations, ensuring that projects are matched to the right partners through targeted outreach and a comprehensive awareness of project details.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with manufacturing partners, ensuring that they are well-informed about the opportunities available to them. You will match projects to partners based on their capabilities and the specific requirements of each project. Your responsibilities will also include preparing and submitting quotes to the sales team, monitoring and improving key performance indicators (KPIs), and updating departmental procedures and training to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

You will play a crucial role in connecting the right manufacturing partners with high-value, complex, and strategically important projects, contributing to the overall success of Xometry's digital marketplace. Your expertise will help drive growth for both the company and its manufacturing partners, making a significant impact in the industry.
