Who you are

You have over 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong background in various manufacturing disciplines including CNC, sheet metal fabrication, and assemblies. Your experience includes time both on and off the shop floor, giving you a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes and partner capabilities. You excel in building relationships with customers and partners, often having worked as a shop representative or business development specialist. Your ability to provide design for manufacturability (DFM) feedback and optimization recommendations sets you apart in this role.

What you'll do

As a Manufacturing Solutions Specialist at Xometry, you will be responsible for curating a micro-network of top manufacturing partners and connecting them to significant opportunities. You will develop a deep understanding of the capabilities of these partners and maintain strong relationships with them. Matching projects to partners will involve targeted outreach and a thorough awareness of project details. You will also prepare and submit quotes to the sales team, monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs), and update departmental procedures and training to optimize operations.
