You have over 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including time both on and off the shop floor. Your background spans multiple manufacturing disciplines, with a strong focus on CNC, sheet metal fabrication, and assemblies. You possess excellent relationship-building skills, often acquired through roles as a shop representative or business development specialist. A Bachelor's Degree in engineering or manufacturing/supply chain is preferred, showcasing your commitment to the field. What you'll do

As a Manufacturing Solutions Specialist at Xometry, you will curate a micro-network of top manufacturing partners and connect them to significant and lucrative opportunities. Your responsibilities will include developing a deep understanding of the capabilities of these partners and maintaining strong relationships with them. You will match projects to partners through targeted outreach, ensuring that you are aware of project details to provide valuable DFM feedback and optimization recommendations. Additionally, you will prepare and submit quotes to the sales team while monitoring and improving key performance indicators (KPIs). Updating and optimizing departmental procedures and training will also be part of your role, ensuring that the team operates efficiently and effectively.
