Who you are

You are a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer with a passion for customer success and a desire to make a real impact. You have experience in customer-facing roles, where you've acted as a trusted advisor and technical expert, building strong relationships with clients. Your background in engineering allows you to collaborate effectively with customer engineers on Design for Manufacturing (DFM) to optimize projects for Xometry's platform. You are proactive in identifying and addressing potential manufacturing challenges, ensuring alignment with customer projects and initiatives.

You thrive in environments where you can blend technical expertise with operational execution. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders is one of your key strengths. You are comfortable with regular onsite visits to customer locations, where you can engage directly with clients and understand their needs.

What you'll do

As a Technical Account Manager at Xometry, you will be embedded within our most strategic accounts, acting as an extension of their engineering teams. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure customer satisfaction by providing technical guidance and support. You will collaborate closely with customer engineers on DFM, helping to optimize their projects for our platform. Your role will involve regular onsite visits to build relationships and understand customer needs, allowing you to proactively identify potential challenges and address them before they escalate.

You will work closely with the Operations team while also collaborating with Sales to drive growth. Your insights into customer projects will help align Xometry's offerings with client needs, ensuring that we deliver the best possible solutions. You will stay informed about upcoming customer initiatives, allowing you to provide timely support and guidance. Your technical expertise will be crucial in helping customers navigate the complexities of manufacturing, ensuring that they can leverage Xometry's platform effectively.
