Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in managing complex, high-impact sales efforts with large retailers. Your experience includes acquiring and expanding partnerships with Fortune 500 brands, showcasing your ability to navigate multifaceted deal cycles effectively. You possess strong strategic thinking skills and can lead cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

You excel in building relationships with C-level and senior stakeholders, demonstrating your ability to communicate effectively across various departments such as merchandising, payments, digital, and finance. Your negotiation skills are top-notch, allowing you to structure and close commercial agreements that involve multiple product lines and custom integrations.

You are adept at translating complex value propositions into tailored business cases, driving both short-term wins and long-term partnerships. Your leadership skills enable you to collaborate with internal teams, including Product, Legal, Risk, Marketing, and Finance, to bring complex initiatives to life. You thrive in a high-ownership, highly visible role that requires a mix of strategic thinking and deep sales expertise.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the full sales cycle from sourcing to closing deals with some of the largest U.S.-based retailers, many of which have international operations. You will drive strategic partnerships by developing deep relationships with key stakeholders and negotiating complex deals that align with Affirm's mission to deliver honest financial products. Your responsibilities will include managing the pipeline, structuring commercial agreements, and leading cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful implementation of initiatives.

You will unlock enterprise value by translating Affirm's differentiated value into compelling business cases, driving both immediate and long-term success. Your ability to navigate internal processes and collaborate with various teams will be crucial in bringing complex initiatives to fruition. You will play a critical role in shaping the future of buy now, pay later (BNPL) solutions at an enterprise scale, making a significant impact on Affirm's growth trajectory.
