Appian is hiring a Senior Account Executive for the DACH Financial Services sector to drive revenue growth in major accounts. You'll establish relationships and engage with top SIs while navigating complex sales cycles. This role requires strong presentation skills and an understanding of banking and financial institutions.

Who you are
You have a proven track record in enterprise sales, particularly within the financial services sector, and possess the ability to navigate complex sales cycles from start to finish. Your experience includes leveraging internal resources and collaborating cross-functionally with customer success teams to achieve sales goals. You excel in building relationships and establishing trust with clients at all levels, ensuring that you can effectively communicate business value and ROI.
Your strong presentation skills enable you to deliver impactful in-person and virtual presentations to both line-of-business and IT audiences. You are adept at performing client discovery and articulating the benefits of your solutions, which is essential for driving engagement and closing deals. You have an in-depth understanding of the banking and financial institutions landscape across the DACH region, which allows you to tailor your approach to meet the unique needs of your clients.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth within major accounts in the DACH region, focusing on the financial services sector. You will establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring that you provide a direct touch across all levels of the end customer. Your ability to penetrate new customers and organizations within your assigned accounts will be crucial to your success.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams from Appian Marketing, Business Development, Customer Success, and Solutions Consulting to leverage the tools and support available to you. Your goal will be to attain and exceed sales performance targets while ensuring that you maintain high standards of care and quality in all interactions. You will also engage with top system integrators to expand your reach and influence within the market.
