Who you are

You have a minimum of 8 years of proven experience in ASIC design, including RTL design and verification — you've developed complex ASICs and are familiar with the latest design tools and methodologies. Your proficiency in SystemVerilog and timing analysis is complemented by strong analytical and problem-solving skills, allowing you to tackle challenging design issues effectively.

You excel in collaboration and communication, working seamlessly with cross-functional teams to integrate digital designs into complex SoCs. Your meticulous attention to detail ensures that you deliver high-quality designs that meet performance and power optimization goals. You are committed to continuous learning and staying updated with cutting-edge technologies in the ASIC design field.

Desirable

Experience with high-speed I/O design and optimization strategies is a plus, as is familiarity with simulation-based and formal verification processes. You thrive in environments that challenge your technical skills and allow you to contribute to innovative solutions.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and verification of complex ASICs, ensuring that they meet the performance and efficiency standards set by Apple. You will develop RTL using SystemVerilog and perform synthesis to create robust designs. Engaging with simulation-based and formal verification teams, you will validate your designs to ensure they are reliable and meet all specifications.

Collaboration is key in this position, as you will work closely with hardware and software teams to integrate your digital designs into complex SoCs. Conducting timing analysis and power optimization will be essential to achieve the desired performance, power, and area (PPA) goals. You will also create detailed micro-architecture and design documentation to support your work and facilitate communication with other team members.
