Job Description
Who you are
You are a highly motivated and strategic professional with experience selling into finance teams, particularly in the AP Automation or Spend Management space. You have a proven track record of acquiring new customers and expanding relationships within existing accounts, especially within Fortune 1000 companies. Your ability to plan strategically and prospect effectively allows you to identify new opportunities and meet or exceed sales quotas consistently.
You thrive in high-impact roles where you own the full sales cycle—from pipeline creation through contract signature. You are comfortable working with finance executives, procurement leaders, and strategic partners to drive the adoption of innovative solutions. Your strong communication skills enable you to articulate the value of AppZen’s offerings effectively, ensuring that clients understand how these solutions can transform their finance processes.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring new customers and expanding relationships within existing Fortune 1000 accounts. You will engage in solid territory and strategic account planning, identifying new opportunities through effective prospecting. Your success will be measured by your ability to meet and ideally exceed sales quotas, demonstrating your effectiveness in driving revenue growth.
You will own the full sales cycle, which includes creating a robust pipeline, engaging with potential clients, and guiding them through the decision-making process until contract signature. Collaborating closely with finance executives and procurement leaders, you will drive the adoption of AppZen’s solutions, ensuring that clients can leverage the full potential of the software to enhance their spend management processes.
