Who you are
You are a motivated individual with a strong desire to excel in sales. You have a methodical approach to prospecting and enjoy creating a fantastic first impression with prospects and customers. Your ability to follow up and qualify inbound requests demonstrates your commitment to understanding scientific fit and customer needs. You are organized and capable of categorizing and prioritizing sales leads effectively, utilizing tools like Salesforce to measure lead conversion and performance against quotas. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with Account Executives to drive outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling and emailing. Your research skills allow you to identify key decision-makers at new accounts, enabling you to develop customized pitches tailored to different target accounts and personas.
Desirable
Experience in the biotechnology sector or familiarity with R&D processes would be a plus, as would any previous exposure to field marketing and sales events.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for building a robust pipeline for Account Executives by following up on inbound requests and qualifying leads. You will leverage prospecting tools to research companies and identify key decision-makers, ensuring that your outreach is targeted and effective. You will collaborate with Account Executives to drive outbound prospecting activities, utilizing cold calling and emailing to communicate Benchling's value proposition to decision-makers. Additionally, you will organize and prioritize sales leads in Salesforce, measuring your performance against quotas to ensure success. You will also participate in field marketing activities, helping to drive attendance at events and following up on leads collected at the Benchling booth.
