What you'll do
In this role, you will own a portfolio of verticals that align with Zopa's expansion plans for 2026/2027. You will be responsible for driving business development efforts, focusing on mid-market retailers and emerging brands. Your primary goal will be to establish high-impact partnerships in the POS/Retail Finance space. You will spend time in the market, building relationships and creating opportunities that align with Zopa's ideal customer profile. Your proactive approach will be essential in identifying new ways to reach merchants and drive growth.
You will collaborate closely with the payments team to unlock cross-sell opportunities and share pipeline insights. Your ability to shape go-to-market ideas will be crucial as you work to open new verticals and expand Zopa's reach. You will be expected to deliver results through a structured approach to business development, leveraging your experience and insights to drive success. Your role will be central to Zopa's growth strategy, and you will play a key part in shaping the future of finance.
