Who you are

You have a strong background in sales, particularly within the public sector, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets. Your experience includes prospecting, negotiating, and closing complex deals, demonstrating your ability to navigate the sales cycle effectively. You possess a consumption/growth mentality, understanding how to drive revenue growth in large, complex accounts. Your leadership skills enable you to engage with C-Level executives, showcasing the value of Confluent's offerings. You are a team player who thrives in collaborative environments, asking hard questions and providing honest feedback to drive success.

What you'll do

As a Public Sector Account Executive at Confluent, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth in the SLED segment. You will proactively prospect, identify, qualify, develop, and close a sales pipeline while continuing to grow consumption in current customer accounts. Your role will involve leading and executing a strategic complex sales cycle, demonstrating the value of Confluent's solutions to C-Level executives. You will become an in-depth expert in Confluent's offerings and the competitive landscape, ensuring you can effectively communicate the benefits to potential clients. Your success will be measured by your ability to meet and exceed quarterly sales targets, contributing to the overall growth of the company.
