You have a strong background in sales, particularly within the UK and Ireland markets, and are adept at managing client relationships. Your experience includes self-generating sales pipelines and driving expansion opportunities with existing clients. You understand the importance of consultative selling and can effectively communicate with both technical and business stakeholders.

You are results-driven and have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals. Your strategic mindset allows you to develop comprehensive account strategies that align with company objectives. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with marketing and customer success teams to create new opportunities and enhance customer engagement.

Desirable

Experience in a technology or SaaS environment is a plus, as is familiarity with Contentful's products and services. You are comfortable using CRM tools to track sales activities and manage client interactions. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for driving customer success will set you apart in this role.

What you'll do

As a Commercial Account Executive at Contentful, you will lead the end-to-end sales process with our top-tier clients. Your primary responsibility will be to drive Contentful’s growth by identifying new revenue opportunities and creating customer enablement initiatives within named accounts. You will work closely with our partnership and customer success teams to ensure a seamless consultative sales process.

You will be responsible for self-generating your sales pipeline through outbound motions in conjunction with marketing and BDR teams. This involves identifying potential clients, reaching out to them, and nurturing relationships to create new opportunities in regional accounts. You will also focus on driving expansion opportunities with existing clients in the UKI territories, leveraging relationships to grow existing accounts.

Meeting quarterly and annual sales goals will be a key focus, and you will develop an account strategy and pipeline to manage internal and client processes effectively. You will maintain a strong understanding of market trends and customer needs to tailor your approach and ensure success in your sales efforts.
