Who you are

You have a proven track record in enterprise sales, particularly within the Martech and DXP ecosystems — your experience includes managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring that you meet or exceed sales goals consistently. You possess a deep understanding of CMS platforms and content personalization, which allows you to act as a trusted advisor to both technical and business stakeholders. Your mastery of value-based selling and familiarity with the MEDPICC sales methodology equips you to navigate complex sales processes effectively.

You thrive in a consultative sales environment, where building relationships is key — your ability to engage with both technical and business stakeholders ensures that you can drive customer enablement initiatives successfully. You are adept at developing robust account strategies and have a strong knowledge of the Martech landscape, which informs your approach to nurturing enterprise accounts.

What you'll do

As a Senior Account Executive at Contentful, you will be responsible for sourcing, positioning, negotiating, and closing new logo and expansion business within North American enterprise accounts. Your role will involve leveraging your strong knowledge of Martech, DXP, CMS, and personalization platforms to drive new revenue. You will consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales goals by developing a pipeline informed by your in-depth understanding of the industry landscape.

You will execute and document the MEDPICC sales methodology throughout the entire sales cycle, ensuring that deals are qualified and stakeholder alignment is achieved. Your responsibilities will also include collaborating with Business Development, Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, and Marketing teams to ensure that enterprises realize the full value of Contentful. By guiding enterprises in transforming their digital experiences, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth.
