Who you are
You are a strategic sales professional with a proven track record in selling to large Pharmaceutical accounts. With your experience, you know how to navigate complex sales cycles and compress decision-making processes, ensuring that you can guide deals forward effectively. You have a deep understanding of the product and are passionate about communicating its value to customers and system integrators. Your proactive approach allows you to identify new opportunities while maintaining and growing existing accounts.
You thrive in an early-stage company environment and have field sales experience within big data, cloud, or SaaS sales. Your ability to meet with CIOs, IT executives, and other key stakeholders enables you to build strong relationships and close both new and existing accounts. You are results-driven and consistently exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets, showcasing your commitment to success.
Desirable
Experience in managing large accounts and a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry will set you apart. Familiarity with solution-based selling and a customer-centric approach are essential for this role. You are comfortable using Salesforce to track customer details, including use cases and forecasting, ensuring that you maintain a clear view of your sales pipeline.
What you'll do
As a Senior Strategic Enterprise Account Executive at Databricks, you will be responsible for driving sales within a single large Pharmaceutical account. Your role will involve meeting with key executives to understand their needs and promote Databricks' enterprise cloud data platform powered by Apache Sparkβ’. You will identify and close quick wins while managing longer, complex sales cycles, ensuring that you meet and exceed your sales targets.
You will utilize a solution-based approach to selling, creating value for customers and ensuring their satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include tracking all customer details in Salesforce, maintaining a clear view of purchase time frames and next steps. You will prioritize opportunities and apply appropriate resources to build a successful plan both internally at Databricks and externally with your accounts.
