You are a strategic sales professional with a proven track record in managing large accounts, particularly within the Medical Device sector. With your experience in field sales, you understand how to navigate complex sales cycles and effectively communicate the value of innovative solutions to customers and system integrators. You thrive in environments where you can maintain and grow existing accounts while identifying new opportunities for expansion.

Your background includes working in early-stage companies, which has equipped you with the skills to adapt and succeed in dynamic settings. You are adept at engaging with C-level executives and other key stakeholders, ensuring that you can effectively promote Databricks' enterprise cloud data platform powered by Apache Sparkβ„’. You have a solution-based approach to selling, always prioritizing customer satisfaction and value creation.

Desirable

Experience in big data, cloud, or SaaS sales is highly desirable, as is familiarity with Salesforce for tracking customer interactions and forecasting. You are comfortable with both quick wins and managing longer, more complex sales processes, demonstrating your versatility in achieving sales targets.

What you'll do

In this role, you will meet with CIOs, IT executives, and other important partners to close both new and existing accounts. Your responsibilities will include identifying and pursuing quick wins while managing longer sales cycles effectively. You will be expected to exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets, contributing to the overall success of the sales team.

You will track all customer details, including use cases and purchase time frames, in Salesforce, ensuring that you have a comprehensive understanding of each account's needs and potential. Your ability to compress decision cycles will be crucial in guiding deals forward and achieving sales goals.
