Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in sales, particularly with Open Source Technologies, and you understand the nuances of build vs buy decision-making. Your expertise in Value Selling Methodologies allows you to effectively communicate the value of complex products to customers, ensuring they see the benefits quickly. You thrive in high-pressure environments and are adept at compressing decision cycles by penetrating accounts rapidly. Your passion for technology drives you to understand products in-depth, enabling you to articulate their value to customers convincingly.
You have a proven track record of managing enterprise accounts and expanding consumption within existing business relationships. Meeting with C-Level Executives to discuss data strategies and business outcomes is something you excel at, and you enjoy the challenge of exceeding activity, pipeline, and revenue targets. Your creative approach to selling and ability to allocate resources effectively helps you break into new accounts and grow existing ones.
Desirable
Experience in selling highly technical products in the cloud is a plus, as is familiarity with the data strategies of disruptive companies. You are a creative salesperson with a well-defined prospecting strategy, and you are comfortable navigating complex sales cycles. Your ability to communicate account strategies to senior leadership demonstrates your leadership skills and strategic thinking.
What you'll do
As a Named Core Digital Native Account Executive at Databricks, you will be responsible for selling to some of the most technologically advanced companies in the world. Your role will involve understanding customer needs and demonstrating how Databricks can impact their business outcomes. You will regularly communicate account strategies to senior leadership and work closely with internal teams to allocate resources effectively for breaking into new accounts.
You will meet with C-Level Executives and practitioners to discuss how Databricks can enhance their data strategies. Your goal will be to exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets while using a creative, fail-fast approach to selling. You will build a plan for success both internally at Databricks and externally with your accounts, ensuring that you are always aligned with customer needs and business objectives.
