You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in a hunter-led role where you've successfully identified and pursued new business opportunities. Your experience includes managing large accounts and driving consumption growth, demonstrating your ability to exceed revenue targets consistently. You are adept at using Salesforce to track customer details and forecast sales, ensuring that you maintain a clear view of your pipeline and customer interactions. You possess a deep understanding of the data and AI landscape, allowing you to effectively communicate the value of innovative solutions to customers. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are motivated by the challenge of growing spend within existing accounts while uncovering new use cases. Your passion for technology and data drives you to stay informed about industry trends and customer needs, enabling you to position Databricks' offerings effectively.
Desirable
Experience in the data and AI sector is a plus, as is familiarity with consumption-based sales models. You may also have a background in working with digital native companies, which gives you insight into their unique challenges and opportunities. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential, as you will be collaborating with various stakeholders to drive success.
What you'll do
In this role, you will own a focused territory of approximately ten large digital native accounts, each with significant growth potential. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute a successful strategy to drive quarter-on-quarter consumption growth in these accounts. You will proactively assess your territory, identifying new opportunities and expanding existing relationships to maximize revenue. You will be expected to exceed activity and quarterly revenue targets, demonstrating your commitment to achieving results. Tracking all customer details, including use cases and purchase time frames, will be crucial for effective forecasting and planning. You will promote the value of Databricks' Data Intelligence Platform, showcasing its capabilities to existing customers and helping them realize its full potential. Your role will involve guiding complex deals forward, compressing decision cycles, and ensuring that customers understand the innovation and value that Databricks brings to their businesses.
