Who you are

You are a strategic sales professional with a proven track record in enterprise sales, particularly within the Life Sciences sector. With experience selling into large pharmaceutical accounts, you understand how to navigate complex decision-making processes and compress sales cycles. You have a deep understanding of the products you sell and are passionate about conveying their value to customers and system integrators. Your ability to identify new opportunities and maintain existing accounts is key to your success. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are driven by exceeding activity, pipeline, and revenue targets.

You have previously worked in an early-stage company, which has equipped you with the skills to be successful in a dynamic sales landscape. Your field sales experience within big data, cloud, or SaaS sales has given you the tools to effectively engage with CIOs, IT executives, and other key stakeholders. You are adept at using a solution-based approach to selling, ensuring that you create value for your customers while promoting Databricks' enterprise cloud data platform powered by Apache Sparkβ„’.

Desirable

Experience managing large, complex Life Sciences accounts is preferred, as it will enable you to hit the ground running in this role. Familiarity with Salesforce is essential for tracking customer details, use cases, and forecasting. You are comfortable with both quick wins and managing longer, more complex sales cycles, allowing you to balance immediate needs with strategic planning.

What you'll do

As an Enterprise Account Executive at Databricks, you will meet with key decision-makers in large pharmaceutical companies to understand their needs and present tailored solutions. Your role will involve identifying and closing quick wins while also managing longer sales cycles that require a more strategic approach.
