Who you are

You are a strategic sales professional with a proven track record in enterprise sales, particularly within the Life Sciences sector. With experience selling to large medical device accounts, you understand how to navigate complex decision-making processes and compress sales cycles effectively. You are passionate about technology and can articulate the value of innovative solutions to customers and system integrators. Your ability to maintain and grow existing accounts is complemented by your proactive approach to identifying new opportunities.

You have previously worked in an early-stage company, which has equipped you with the skills to thrive in dynamic environments. Your field sales experience in big data, cloud, or SaaS sales has honed your ability to engage with C-level executives and other key stakeholders. You are adept at using a solution-based approach to selling, ensuring that you create value for your customers while meeting their unique needs.

Desirable

Experience in managing large, complex sales cycles within the pharmaceutical or medical device industries is a plus. Familiarity with data-driven sales strategies and the ability to leverage analytics to inform your approach will set you apart.

What you'll do

As an Enterprise Account Executive at Databricks, you will be responsible for driving sales within the Life Sciences sector. You will meet with CIOs, IT executives, and program managers to understand their needs and close both new and existing accounts. Your role will involve identifying quick wins while also managing longer, more complex sales cycles. You will be expected to exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets, tracking all customer interactions and details in Salesforce.

You will promote Databricks' enterprise cloud data platform powered by Apache Sparkβ„’, ensuring that customers achieve 100% satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include building a strategic plan for success both internally at Databricks and externally with your accounts. You will prioritize opportunities and apply appropriate resources to maximize your impact.
