You are a strategic sales professional with a strong background in selling to Financial Services accounts β your experience has equipped you with the skills to navigate complex sales cycles and compress decision-making processes. You have a deep understanding of the products you sell and are passionate about communicating their value to customers and system integrators. Your previous roles have involved building relationships with CIOs, IT executives, and program managers, allowing you to effectively identify and close opportunities within existing accounts.
You thrive in environments where innovation and change are paramount β your ability to articulate customer vision expansion has been key to your success. You are always on the lookout for new opportunities and are driven to exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets. Your familiarity with Salesforce enables you to track customer details meticulously, ensuring that you are always prepared for the next steps in the sales process.
Desirable
Experience in an early-stage company is a plus, as it has taught you how to be agile and successful in a fast-moving environment. You have a proven track record in field sales, particularly within big data, Cloud, or SaaS sectors, and your previous customer relationships with key decision-makers have set you up for success in this role.
What you'll do
As an Enterprise Account Executive at Databricks, you will meet with CIOs, IT executives, and other key partners to close both new and existing accounts. You will identify quick wins while managing longer, more complex sales cycles, ensuring that you exceed your activity and revenue targets. Your role will involve using a solution-based approach to selling, creating value for customers, and promoting Databricks' enterprise cloud data platform powered by Apache Sparkβ’.
You will be responsible for tracking all customer details, including use cases and purchase time frames, in Salesforce. This meticulous tracking will help you forecast effectively and prioritize opportunities, applying the appropriate resources to maximize success. You will also build a plan for success both internally at Databricks and externally with your accounts, ensuring that customer satisfaction remains at 100%.
