You are a seasoned professional with a strong background in commercial strategy and operations. With at least 5 years of experience in a managerial role, you have a proven track record of driving growth and operational excellence in a competitive market. You possess excellent communication skills and the ability to foster relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and collaboration across teams.
You thrive in dynamic environments and are comfortable taking calculated risks to achieve ambitious goals. Your analytical mindset allows you to interpret data and market trends effectively, enabling you to make informed decisions that drive business success. You are passionate about building inclusive teams and creating a culture where everyone feels valued and heard.
What you'll do
As the Commercial Manager at Glovo, you will be responsible for defining and executing the commercial strategy for Uganda. This includes leading efforts to acquire new restaurant partners and managing strategic accounts to ensure high performance. You will set high-level KPIs and refine team processes to position Uganda as a top-performing market within Glovo's operations.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and operations, to align strategies and drive growth initiatives. Your role will involve analyzing market data to identify opportunities for expansion and improvement, as well as developing and implementing innovative solutions to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
You will also play a key role in mentoring and developing your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance. By leveraging your leadership skills, you will inspire your team to achieve their goals and contribute to Glovo's mission of revolutionizing the way people connect with their everyday needs.
