Asic Design Verification Engineer • Senior

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. With 8 years of experience in design verification, you possess a deep understanding of the verification life cycle and have worked on three or more SoC projects. Your expertise in SystemVerilog and UVM allows you to build efficient verification environments and formally verify designs using SVA and industry-leading formal tools. You are skilled at identifying and writing coverage measures for stimulus and corner cases, and you excel at debugging tests in collaboration with design engineers to ensure functionally correct design blocks.

You may also hold a Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, with a focus on computer architecture. Your extensive experience with industry-standard tools, languages, and methodologies relevant to silicon-based ICs and chips sets you apart. You are passionate about driving innovation in AI/ML hardware acceleration and are eager to contribute to the development of custom silicon solutions that power Google's TPU technology.

What you'll do

In this role, you will verify complex digital designs with a specific focus on TPU architecture and its integration within AI/ML-driven systems. You will collaborate closely with design and verification engineers on active projects, ensuring exceptional verification processes. Your responsibilities will include building efficient verification environments using SystemVerilog and UVM, as well as formally verifying designs with SVA. You will identify and write coverage measures to track verification progress and close coverage holes, demonstrating your commitment to delivering high-quality design blocks. You will also engage in debugging tests with design engineers, fostering a collaborative environment that drives innovation and excellence in design verification.
