You have 2-5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role — you understand the nuances of prospecting and lead qualification, and you're eager to shape the future of an SDR organization from the ground up. Your strong written and verbal communication skills allow you to engage effectively with potential clients and internal teams alike. You are highly organized and curious, always looking for ways to improve processes and outcomes.
What you'll do
As a Founding Sales Development Representative at Hopper, you will own outbound prospecting efforts across travel and adjacent advertiser verticals. Your day-to-day will involve researching and identifying high-potential advertiser accounts and key decision-makers, executing multi-channel outreach through email, LinkedIn, calls, and conferences to generate qualified meetings. You will qualify inbound leads and route opportunities appropriately, partnering closely with Account Executives to align on target accounts, messaging, and meeting quality. Additionally, you will maintain accurate activity tracking, lead status, and pipeline data in CRM, and help build SDR playbooks, outreach templates, and prospecting best practices using AI wherever possible. Your feedback to leadership on market response, objections, and demand signals will be invaluable as the organization scales.
