Overview

Instructure is seeking an Account Executive for their Parchment Higher Education suite to drive new client adoption and manage sales pipelines. This role requires a proven record in new client acquisitions and offers a remote work environment.

Who you are

You have a dynamic, entrepreneurial mindset and a proven record in new client acquisitions. You understand the importance of building long-term customer relationships and are skilled in professional sales techniques. You are comfortable working from a home office and are motivated to meet or exceed sales objectives in your assigned territory.

You have experience engaging with various stakeholders in the education sector, including Commissioners, Chief Academic Officers, and Executive Directors at State Agencies. Your ability to communicate effectively with these audiences is crucial for promoting and selling the Parchment product solutions.

You thrive in a role that requires you to create and manage a new sales pipeline while also cross-selling products into existing networks. Your proactive approach and ability to drive net-new client adoption will be key to your success in this position.

Desirable

Experience in the education technology sector or familiarity with higher education institutions would be beneficial. A background in sales or business development is also advantageous, as it will help you navigate the complexities of the market.

What you'll do

As an Account Executive at Instructure, you will be responsible for creating and managing a new sales pipeline for the Parchment suite of products. You will engage with potential clients, understand their needs, and present tailored solutions that drive adoption of our products.

You will work closely with your team to develop strategies for reaching out to new clients and nurturing existing relationships. Your role will involve conducting market research to identify potential leads and opportunities for growth within your territory.

You will also be responsible for tracking your sales activities and performance metrics, ensuring that you meet or exceed your sales targets. Regular communication with your team and management will be essential to align on goals and share insights from your interactions with clients.

In addition, you will participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your product knowledge and sales skills. This continuous learning will enable you to effectively address client inquiries and provide exceptional service.
