Intercom is seeking a Lead in Enterprise Sales to drive new business and customer growth across North America. You'll be responsible for scaling a high-performing team and executing enterprise sales strategies. This role requires proven experience in sales leadership.

You have a proven track record in enterprise sales, with a strong ability to define strategy and drive disciplined execution. Your experience includes leading and coaching teams, setting performance standards, and embedding effective sales methodologies in every deal. You thrive in high-growth environments and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences through innovative solutions.

You understand the importance of collaboration across departments and can effectively partner with various teams to achieve outsized impact. Your leadership style is focused on empowering your team, fostering a culture of accountability, and driving results through motivation and support. You are adaptable and can navigate the challenges of a fast-paced sales environment while maintaining a focus on long-term goals.

Desirable

Experience in the customer experience (CX) space is a plus, as is familiarity with AI-driven solutions. You are data-driven and can leverage analytics to inform your sales strategies and decisions. A background in technology sales or SaaS is also beneficial, as it aligns with Intercom's mission to enhance customer service through AI.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the enterprise sales execution for Intercom's innovative AI Customer Service solutions. You will define the sales strategy and drive prospecting discipline, ensuring that your team is equipped with the tools and knowledge to succeed. You will lead, coach, and grow a team of Account Executives, setting performance standards and fostering a high-performing culture.

You will be accountable for scaling the sales team and driving new business growth across North America. This includes identifying key opportunities, developing relationships with potential clients, and executing sales strategies that align with Intercom's mission. You will also work closely with marketing and product teams to ensure that the sales approach is aligned with the overall business objectives.

Your role will involve regular performance reviews and coaching sessions to help your team members achieve their goals. You will also be responsible for reporting on sales metrics and outcomes, using data to refine strategies and improve performance continuously. As a leader, you will inspire your team to push boundaries and deliver incredible value to customers.
