Who you are
You have a strong background in sales operations, ideally with 3+ years of experience in a deal desk or similar role — you've successfully supported sales teams by streamlining processes and enhancing sales effectiveness. Your expertise in contract evaluation ensures that all agreements are complete and adhere to company policies, allowing for smooth deal closures.
You are detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational skills — you thrive in environments where you can foster best practices and implement structured deal reviews. Your ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders ensures that approvals for non-standard deals are documented and escalated appropriately.
What you'll do
In this role, you will support Intercom's Global Sales teams by providing deal desk guidance within the Sales Operations team. You will drive process improvements and systems requirements, including implementing best-in-class quote-to-order processes. Your responsibilities will include evaluating and reviewing all contracts for completeness and accuracy, ensuring adherence to company policies.
You will lead structured deal reviews and checkpoints, fostering best practices that increase sales effectiveness. Additionally, you will assist in closing and managing deals within the systems, ensuring that all necessary approvals are documented and resolved within reasonable timeframes.
