Who you are
You are a motivated individual with a keen interest in biotechnology and its potential to improve lives. You have experience in business development or sales, ideally within a tech or biotech environment, and are comfortable engaging with potential clients through various channels such as email, LinkedIn, and calls. You understand the importance of research and are adept at qualifying leads based on their fit and urgency. You are organized and detail-oriented, ensuring that all interactions and data are accurately recorded in HubSpot. You thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and are willing to travel as required to represent Invert at industry events.
What you'll do
In this role, you will proactively source and engage target accounts through various outbound channels, including email, LinkedIn, calls, and events. You will research accounts to understand their bioprocess maturity, technology stack, and likely pain points, which will help you qualify both inbound and outbound leads effectively. Your goal will be to book high-quality discovery meetings for the sales team, ensuring that strong context is captured for each interaction. You will maintain accurate notes and qualification data in HubSpot, partnering closely with the Head of Business Development to refine messaging, targeting, and outreach strategies. Additionally, you will provide valuable feedback to the Product and Commercial teams based on your conversations with prospects, helping to shape the future of Invert's offerings.
