Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in sales, particularly in e-commerce, and are skilled at prospecting and closing deals. Your experience includes managing client relationships and driving growth through effective account management. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable with virtual selling techniques, including outbound calling and email outreach.

You are familiar with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, and BigCommerce, which enables you to effectively communicate with potential merchant partners. Your ability to analyze market trends and identify new opportunities sets you apart, and you are driven by achieving sales targets and expanding your book of business.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for prospecting and closing new e-commerce merchant partners through various channels, including outbound calls and inbound leads. You will own the merchant lifecycle from initial outreach through onboarding and early-stage growth, serving as the primary point of contact for your clients. Your focus will be on driving adoption of Koalafi's financing solutions among online merchants, ensuring they understand the value and benefits of our offerings.

You will also manage and expand your existing accounts, working closely with merchants to enhance their experience and satisfaction. This includes regular check-ins, providing support, and identifying upsell opportunities. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless onboarding process and to address any client needs that arise.

Your role will involve occasional travel to industry events and merchant onsite meetings, allowing you to build relationships and represent Koalafi in the e-commerce space. You will contribute to the overall growth strategy of the company by sharing insights and feedback from your interactions with merchants.
