Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in managing strategic accounts and driving revenue growth. Your ability to build relationships with C-suite executives sets you apart, and you thrive in environments where you can influence decision-making and drive impactful outcomes. You understand the complexities of navigating large organizations and can effectively communicate the value of innovative solutions to diverse stakeholders.

You are results-oriented and have a strong understanding of the sales cycle, from initial engagement to contract negotiation and closing. Your analytical skills allow you to assess buying criteria and ensure pipeline accuracy, while your strategic mindset helps you identify the best approaches to engage with potential clients. You are adaptable and can pivot your strategies based on market dynamics and customer needs.

What you'll do

As a Strategic Account Executive at Kong, you will take ownership of a defined book of business, leading the full sales cycle for key strategic accounts in South Korea. Your role will involve engaging with C-suite executives to understand their most pressing security challenges and positioning Kong's solutions as the answer. You will build and nurture relationships with multiple stakeholders, ensuring that you are seen as a trusted partner in their journey towards digital transformation.

You will be responsible for documenting the buying process and criteria, ensuring that your sales pipeline is accurate and reflective of your engagements. Your day-to-day will include strategic planning, relationship-building, and deal-making, all aimed at driving revenue and expanding Kong's footprint in the region. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure that customer needs are met and that you are equipped with the necessary resources to succeed.
