Who you are
You have a background in engineering and experience in technical recruiting — you understand the nuances of hiring for roles in infrastructure, backend, AI research, and product development. You are skilled at developing strategies to find exceptional candidates across various channels, including industry and academia. Your ability to engage with candidates on a technical level sets you apart, as you can assess their past work and thought processes effectively.
You thrive in a startup environment and are comfortable working closely with founders and a small team — your proactive approach to building pipelines and maintaining candidate relationships is essential. You are detail-oriented and can manage the full recruitment process, from screening to closing offers, ensuring a smooth experience for candidates and the hiring team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will develop a comprehensive plan for sourcing strong candidates in the fields of infrastructure, backend, machine learning, and product management. You will leverage various outreach methods, including direct engagement, community involvement, and referrals, to build a robust candidate pipeline. Your responsibilities will include screening candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring process to ensure a thoughtful and efficient experience.
You will collaborate closely with the founders to align hiring strategies with the company's growth objectives — your insights will help shape the future of Krea's team. You will also be responsible for maintaining communication with candidates throughout the process, providing them with timely updates and feedback. Your role will be pivotal in helping Krea attract and retain top talent in the competitive AI landscape.
