You have a solid background in technical support, ideally with experience in datacenter environments. Your hands-on attitude and curiosity drive you to solve problems efficiently and effectively, ensuring that infrastructure runs smoothly and reliably. You enjoy engaging with customers and providing clear, proactive communication in both German and English. Your team spirit and ownership mindset make you a valuable asset in collaborative settings.
You are familiar with server operating systems, including Linux and Windows Server, and have experience with virtualization technologies like VMware. Your knowledge extends to control panel software such as cPanel and Plesk, as well as networking equipment including switches, firewalls, and load balancers. You take pride in your ability to document technical processes and communicate complex information clearly.
What you'll do
As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of various systems and equipment in the datacenter. You will work on server operating systems, ensuring they are set up correctly and running optimally. Your role will involve diagnosing and resolving issues related to control panel software and networking equipment, contributing to the overall reliability of Leaseweb's services.
You will participate in a 24/7 rotating shift system, allowing you to gain diverse experience while ensuring that customer needs are met at all times. Your proactive approach will help identify areas for improvement, and you will share insights with your team to enhance service delivery. You will also engage in professional communication with customers, providing them with the support they need to succeed.
